- You acknowledge that you have read these rules in their entirety ;
- You agree to comply fully with this rules ;
- You grant moderators of this forum the right to delete, move or edit any topic at any time.It is time Board and Forum Rules were enforced. It is also time you gave respect to the rules and had consideration to others before you make a post.Warning will be issued to authors (or "posters" as some may prefer) who:1. post vague questions2. post contents not written in proper English3. double post or bump a topic4. request for guides and board links5. spam topics6. spam irrelevant contents7. revive old topicsMembers above the rank of Limited Member will face both warning and suspension. Members who repeatedly break rules, ignore warnings or abuse moderators who issue them warnings will face suspension of posting ability and/or have their posts subject to moderator preview. Explanations:1. Vague questions -- are those which tell nothing specific. Topics will be locked or deleted.Example: I followed a guide and set everything the guide says but get Gravity error. Help?2. Not in proper English -- Poor English is excusable, but not mutilated words and butchered grammar, as in the example. Unanswered posts will be deleted.Example: me folo a guide n set evthin da guide seis bt git gravity error.oso tryed othr wei 2.dunno y...any1 noe?????c'mon ppl...helpp ma svr on9!!!!plizz!!!!tnx>.< (more interesting if not censored by the board)3. Bumping -- is irritating and irresponsible. A post made with the intention of bumping up a topic and found to be the latest will be deleted, regardless of its contents.4. Guide and board links -- If you asked for a guide, obviously you have already searched the Guides section and know that there is a Guide Request topic. Requests for links to forum boards will be viewed as attempts to cause trouble.Example 1: Please send me a link to a guideExample 2: Where is Scripting Support?5. Topic spamming -- includes unrelated topics, splitting related questions into multiple posts and posting similar topic on other forum boards.6. Irrelevant contents -- need explanation? If you felt that a topic is going the wrong way, post your solution and direction, or just ignore it.Example 1: Wrong section! (Let it be unanswered to attract attention of moderators)Example 2: Search! (Who doesn't know that? Provide a link if you must post.)Example 3: Use Notepad, you fool! ("you fool" is irrelevant and is against eAthena Board Rules: harassment)Example 4: If you don't know how to follow instructions, give up! (acceptable if you had tried repeatedly to help)Example 5: Link is down! (Just wait for the link to be up. Only the host can attend to that problem.)Example 6: Nice guide! (Not all guides are in the Guide section. And if you saw one, don't post such praise. It is a nice guide alright, otherwise it would have thrown away a long time ago.)Example 7: Add me to your MSN... (Board Rule #2 also applies)Example 8: My email is ... (Board Rule #2 also applies)Example 9: Someone help this guy! (If you couldn't help, don't post or do that to bump the topic.)Example 10:
or ASCII art and nothing else (Are you collecting forum points? Think again.)7. Old topics -- If a topic had died (more than 1 week has passed since the last post), let it be. The originator ("topic starter") may bump his/her topic, within reason, if it still needed attention.
